General information related to visa application for Suriname:
We hereby kindly inform you that the nationals of Gambia, Guyana and Malaysia are exempted from visa for Suriname. Please note that the nationals of other OIC-member countries will need a visa to enter Suriname. The Central Bank of Suriname can assist the participants to receive a visa on arrival (VOA) from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. To proceed the visa application our Ministry of Foreign Affairs requires:
1. completed visa form (attached)
2. copy passport (color)
3. confirmed round trip ticket
Please be informed that after receiving of these documents, they will be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If the visa application is approved a visa approval letter will be sent to the participant. Please note that this procedure can take up to 10 business days.
Upon arrival at our airport, the following documents will be requested by the airport authorities (immigration), in order for the participant to receive the visa in their passport :
1. A hard copy visa approval letter
2. A color copy of the passport
3. The hard copy of the completed application form
4. A colored passport photo
5. And approximately USD 60 in cash as we have no credit card facilities available at the airport.
